Peek-a-boo

Like most babies, Ephram will nearly always go for a good game of peek-a-boo.  We've been playing it with him since he was about a month old, and I'm sure he spent quite some time wondering what we crazy people were doing.  One day he started engaging in it with us, letting out his giggles and squeals, and I knew that he actually did enjoy the game.

But I wasn't prepared for this...  One day, just before he was four months old, I peeked in on him and found him smiling back at me while playing with one of his favorite blankets.

I started to talk to him, as he slowly moved the blanket up, up, up...  Until it just barely reached his eyes.  Then he pushed it back down a bit and waited expectantly.

"Peek-a-boo?"  My question was answered with a giggle.  He kicked around for a bit in his playful way, and I figured it was a fluke and that he hadn't purposefully played peek-a-boo with me.  But then, he started to do it again.  And again.  And again.

I had so much fun waiting for him to lower the blanket so I could say peek-a-boo over and over.  But the best part?

His laughs!
