Easter at the Zaniewski's

A few years ago we started an Easter tradition to have dinner and an egg hunt with our two family friends up here that are pseudo-family. We missed it last year because the kids came to stay with us that day, and we didn’t want to overwhelm them with too many people. So this year, we were excited to go over to the Zaniewski’s to spend some time with them and the Stutzmans.

Since our progressive dinner celebration at Christmas, there had been two new arrivals – Tanna Zaniewski and Caleb Stutzman. When we had first celebrated Easter at our house a couple of years earlier, the only kid was the Stutzman’s older son, (who chose not to join us this year.) This year we had 6 kids between the three families. How quickly we have grown!

The kids had a great time playing and the adults had a great time visiting. It was very rainy outside, so the boys set-up an indoor Easter Egg Hunt. It was fun to watch them find all of their eggs. Lynnae ate all of her candy within a day. (And got quite the belly ache.)

We had fun playing with the babies and actually managed to get all of the kids to sit on the couch long enough to attempt a group picture!
