I have never seen so many model trains in my life. There was every sort of model train there. There were even special tables set-up for the kids to control some of the trains. Charlie thought it was so much fun, we had to tear him away when it was another kid's turn to try! Luckily he found another table with controls for him to try right away.
Ephram watched Charlie send the Thomas model trains around and around the track from his stroller. He had just woken up, but it didn't take long for him to start asking to get out of the stroller too!
I had so much fun showing the boys the trains at this table. Ephram wanted to grab each train that came zooming by. Charlie just stood there in awe.
Of course, we took some time to see the rest of the center too. Charlie's favorites were the dinosaurs, the sound exhibits and the space capsule that he could climb into. Ephram loved the funny mirrors and the sound exhibits.
We all also enjoyed this giant table and chairs. Charlie climbed right up and started telling everyone he was five years old. Then Andy climbed up to join him - just to prove to Charlie that two people really can fit in a giant's chair.
It was a really fun trip and a great way to start my birthday weekend. And what about the Harry Potter Exhibit? We bought tickets to return two weeks later. No cameras were allowed in the exhibit, so I left mine home. But it was amazing, and worth the second trip to Seattle!
