I remember being four and thinking that there was a remarkably long letter in the alphabet. You may know it, it comes after the letter "k"... yep, it's the letter "ellemenopee". I think lyric confusion is one of the cutest things about little kids, so I just had to record some of Charlie's Christmas carol lyrics before he goes and learns all the right words!
For your reading pleasure, here are a few of my favorites...
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
We won't go until we get snow
We won't go until we get snow
We won't go until we get snow
So bring snow right here
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Later on we'll conspire
As we dream in the fire
To face unafraid
The crayons that we made
Rockin' in a Winter Wonderland
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in mystery
Let it Snow
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Frosty the Snowman
Frosty the Snowman was a very happy snow
With a corndog nose and a big top hat
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Mommy Dad
Feliz Mommy Dad
Feliz Mommy Dad so are you happy Mommy Dad?
I love my five-year-old Charlie. I'll miss this stage when it's gone!!!
