What does Charlie want to be when he grows up?
Santa.
He has told us this every Christmastime that he has lived with us.
He is very determined.
He says he needs lots and lots of food so that he can get a tummy that looks like a bowl full of jelly.
On this, our little string bean has a long way to go.
He practices his Christmas phrases, like "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
He tells us when we are on the nice list.
He tells us when we have made the naughty list too... (usually when he is on the naughty list.)
He practices his Christmas carols so that he can help "the elves be happy to make the toys."
And most importantly, he is honing his "Ho Ho Ho" skills.
How does Charlie think you get to be Santa Claus?
You have to catch the other Santa and then he falls off the roof.
Hmmm... think we have to work on that one.
